Default ABS Over Reaction

I was Tboned in the right front, back door part of the fender and 3 weeks ago. I just got my car back and now the ABS is acting up. Itia not throwing any codes. But when I brake like normal it catches like i fast braked. They opened it back up and cannot find anything obvious. I ran a search for ABS before posting this; however, no threads popped up. He’s going to do some research but with all this out of pocket I may replace a few things myself if it’s not too much money or disassembly

had this happen to me when I didn't fully insert the ABS wheel speed sensors back into the knuckles when doing my bearings. If a body shop replaced a bent/broken knuckle with a new one, make sure they fully seated the sensors.

yeah i agree the ABS sensors are likely not reading properly causing the ABS to trigger at every press of the pedal. check the sensor and wiring.

Thank you! I pulled an old knee from the same year and model in the salvage yard for them to put in. I’ll get that looked at. I live on a boat and working on my own car at the dock isn’t possible.
