For what it's worth, I had a double pinstripe (tape) applied today by a great aftermarket guy for $45. Amazing how much it enhances my white '03 LS. As I posted elsewhere, I don't like monster wheels and funky grilles and hood ornaments...I don't even like the optional factory chrome wheels. But the car, as beautiful as it was, just seemed "naked' and now seems compete with the stripe. By the way, although someone else wrote me and said to get it painted, the $45 tape is just fine. I probably WOULD have gone for a painted stripe if I could find someone who could do it. But this is great.

 

I have never had any problems with the tape , and I don't think you will have any problems also.........I would like to see some pictures if you have any .

 

It was hard to capture the pinstripe exactly, especially the color, but here is my best try.

No. The pinstripper said the general concensus is that it looks tacky on high end cars. So I took his word for it....and he could have charged me for it and I would have paid so, based on his input that earned him LESS money, I assumed he was being honest.
