Auto climate control is no longer automatic
For years I've just left the system on automatic at 71 degrees and basically never touched it, winter or summer. But now that we're getting into colder weather, I've noticed that my car wasn't really warming up properly.
I've had to manually set the temperature to 75, 78, 80! degrees a few times because the car was too cold. The system feels like it's reading 10 or 15 degrees too hot and not warming up the car properly.
When I do manually raise the temperature, heat does come out rapidly and it will warm up. Cabin air filter is a few months old, it's flowing perfectly fine.
Any ideas? Thanks!
I tried troubleshooting the blend door step and it didn't seem to change anything. Recirc, A\C on and off, fresh air only, doesn't change much.
Car doesn't have any OBD codes.
If the solution\troubleshooting involves pulling the dash - then I guess it is the way it is because there's no way I'm doing that.

You might have to determine what the true ambient temperature is and compare that with the temperature setting of the HVAC system to see how far off they are.
I believe total of two or three sensors...
