So for some reason, in my 91 ls 400, all the windows just straight up stopped working. None of the switches do anything, but when the door is open, it unlocks the car (its done this since i've gotten it). Checked all the fuses, disconnected the battery for a bit, nothing changed. Anybody got any suggestions for fixing this?

Edit: Think its probably the drivers side master switch thats acting up since everything else seems in order. Will update once I replace it.

Edit: I just slammed the door real hard a couple times and I haven't had any issues since. Still have the new master switch if the one I have acts up again.

 

Wires between the door and the pillar are broken? Would explain the change (wires bending) when you open the door.

 

The window switches have always unlocked the doors when the door is open even when the windows worked for the past 8 months or so, I probably should have specified that.

 

Ended up being a broken wire between the door and pillar. Soldered it together and no more issues
