Haven't posted in a while but I picked up a 96 with 143xxx a while back with blowing smoke issues. Picked up an ecu from a forum member and has been running great ever since. Now has 150xxx. I have codes for the 02 sensors and my catalytic converters are making a rattle noise when I decelerate. Not sure if both or one. I'm gonna bet both. Guessing the honeycomb is falling apart.? My question is, can I pull both cats off and remove the broken bits and reinstall with new o2 sensors? Or are the cats trashed? Anybody know the gasket part number for the cat flanges? I'm also getting a rich smell at startup. New cts?
