Default Adus 5056 Help

First time poster, just got a 99 LS
I was replacing the rear trailing arm bushings as they were shot, the bushings that go in the spindle, (psb 505), went in fine by hand, but the 5056 bushings that go in to the trailing arm are way too large to fit, I've read that some have used a lathe to turn the bushes. I would prefer to not go this route, is there any bushings that will fit into the trailing arm without modification. Or do I have to buy whole arms from the dealer. Thanks, any input is appreciated.

Your basically screwed, I couldn't find any bushings that fit, and bushings aren't available from the dealer alone, they only sell the whole arm. You could machine them on a lathe, that might damage the bush. PSB needs to update their listing to not include the UFC20 chassis for that bushing as clearly multiple people had had this issue.

With regards to the PSB or ADUS 5056 bushings, the reason there could be a fitment issue is the control arm could be a aftermarket arm as these LS400 are 28 years old, there is a chance then some where down the road that trailing arm could have been replaced with an aftermarket one and in which case the PSB / ADUS brand bushing may not fit, as they were only designed to replace the original Lexus Trailing Arm. Another reason could be that the outer metal shell from the old bushing has not been removed, therefor the PSB / ADUS bushing will not fit it will be around 3mm to big, so the outer shell must be removed before replacing them with the PSB / ADUS Bushings.

No, I had to order oem Lexus arms since I couldn't find the bushings. Adus bushings definitely won't fit. Maybe the pre 95 arms are bigger. It shows on adus packaging to fit 1990-2000

Check out Febest for bushings as well, I used ADUS for the trailing arm bushing and a pair of TAB-172 Spherical bushings to replace the lower knuckle bushings. PITA but only thing I found that fit.

My arms that I pulled off were oem and I removed the outer metal shell of the bushing and the 5056 bushings were still much larger, I would be glad to send my old arms in so you guys can find a bushing that fits. Lmk
