Default Steering Rack replacement help

Hello,
My rack is leaking fluid so replace won’t rebuilt. Any tips on reaching the line bolts? Also, I read a step by step how to and it said one bolt is 22 mm. Mine is a 96 and when I visually inspected they both looked smaller than 22 mm. Any tips would be appreciated, I have done brakes, rotors and inner and outer tie rods. The only thing that looks difficult are the lines.

Same here. I have to do mine on my 95.Not sure about the 22, but there is a big bolt underneath each engine mount, and that, I think holds the rack onto the lower cross member. There are two other bolts on that same cross member. It could be 22mm.There is another 17 inch bolt that I think is the high pressure hose that you need to raise the engine and get to it with a long 17 mm wrench.I was about to do mine and I realized the electrical plug was different from my original, so I gave up.

Did you make sure you had the proper fluid, My flushing of power steering (brown) fluid and replace with dex III has stopped my leak,
