Electrical issue when brakes applied
1998 LS400 227K miles. Dash backlighting and radio cut out momentarily and intermittently when applying the brake. Started last week.
This morning, the ABS, TRAC lights lit up and the speedo and tach needles went to zero momentarily. That happened twice.
Battery is new this summer 800 cca.
What are your thoughts?

check your battery terminals to see if they are tight!
also check to see if there are any evidence of rodents around which can cause havoc on electrical wires that they like to munch on.
