Probably the hardest part is going to be getting everything back together properly. You would of course take pix, label & store parts and pieces, and be dedicated to getting things back in place correctly. Another thing to be aware of is breakage. I have to be fully at myself—meaning rested, focused, and have the time to complete the task. Otherwise I get in a hurry or don’t pay attention, and I end up breaking things, getting frustrated, and making mistakes.

Hardest part? You already got that covered with having space to put ALL the parts and pieces that come out. Make sure you keep all the nuts and bolts labeled so you know what goes with what. I was just reading through my HC thread, WOW the memories. I didn't do this but, label all the wire plugs so you don't get confused putting them back in. There's alot.

It's ALOT more work then it looks in the manual. For anyone else that needs the page numbers they are in volume 2 of the manual.
Heater unit and blower unit:
AC 109
AC 103-104
Ducts:
AC 152-155
Dash pad:

I just did this on my 460 and the HARDEST part was removing/reinstalling the reinforcement bar. I did this by myself and at least for the 460 you need 2 ppl to lift and maneuver the bar since it is so heavy.

The 400 bar isn't that heavy. I know I did it by myself cuz noone helped with this job.I got three kids but kids nowadays don't want to work, especially when it's 20* outside.
