So they are back. Which took longer than expected since last time battery was unplugged. I smoked the front of the car and found 2 hoses...one was leaking from the usual spot on the air intake (the nipple that breaks off) and we did the club Lexus approved fix. The other was coming off the pcv valve. Replaced the pcv valve. How would I be able to test the items in the rear namely the charcoal and vsv etc. Where do I introduce smoke back there or is there a better test? I seen some tests for same codes on camrys.
I also saw this on the comments on a 1999 toyota car.....
I HAD p 0441 AND P 0446. I HAD ACCIDENTALLY PULLED OUT THE TINY HOSE WHILE REPLACING THE AIR FILTER. ALWAYS CHECK HOSES FIRST .

Charcoal canister assembly is fine, but something I noticed.....I have always used 76 gas cuz its 200ft from my place, but was running low on a trip and stopped at a sinclair station. Filled up. When I got home got a CEL. with these codes....possible that fuel can do this?
