Default Coil Spring Recommendation 1999 LS400

I desperately need new struts and springs for my LS400. I plan on getting the KYB struts, but cannot locate a recommended coil spring other than the pricey OEM springs. H&R no longer makes springs for my aging beauty. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks!

Welcome to Club Lexus.

Not sure if Tanabe are still available. My suggestion would be to get the Megan adjustable coils. The price may be a bit more yet allows for a much broader range of ride height adjustments.

I used MOOG coils and KYB struts from rockauto.com. This is for factory replacement, not lowering springs. Work great on my car, no issues, car drives smooth.

ps. I opted for kyb bump stops and boots as well but my mechanic refused to instal them as he said the ones on my car were still good and superior to the kyb. I replaced mine just recently at 200,000km. I did however have kyb strut mounts installed also off rockauto.

something to keep in mind for yours

depending on the condition of your current boots and bump stops you may be ok without them but better to have them in case.
