Ls400 underdrive pulley?

Ls400 underdrive pulley?
Has anyone tried an underdrive crankshaft pulley on a 1990 Ls400 (or similiar year)? I wanted to know if it really made any gains, I am about to have the timing belt, etc done and figured it would be the right time to install one if it was worth it.
