LED Headlights for a 95-97 LS400
I'm making this on thread since I was searching for some advice on LED headlights and didn't find a recent one specifically for the 95, 96 or 97 ls400. I just installed these headlights I found on Amazon:
These are pretty cool, considering the alternatives out there. Most of the LED headlights I ran into had a plug with a huge heat sync on top. I originally bought Beamtech headlights but it seemed like I would need to modify the water blocking rubber boot in order to get it to fit properly and I didn't want to do that. Anyway, I'm not a shill but I thought these were pretty dope. Kind of expensive (I got them for $60), but they look WAY better than halogen. If they last 2 years I'll be happy. They went in just as easily as a standard H4 9003. I don't think it's 1:1 exactly but I didn't have any issues installing it at all. I think I might have applied a bit more force when trying to secure it in place with the silver/metal clip, but it wasn't much more. Hopefully more companies start doing a design similar to this (assuming it's good). I'll make sure to update the thread if they ever start sucking or run into any issues.

I have beamtech (in my Tacoma) and it didn't require any modification to the dust boot. you just need to be a little clever during installation.
albeit the LS400 boots are very different so this solution is better suited for the car.
the only thing I see as a problem is the fan, as it sits behind the dust boot, is entirely useless as it will be circulating hot air INSIDE the lens housing.
any heat dissipation is good I suppose.
beamtech has no moving parts, and the heatsink sits outside the boot accordingly.
I appreciate your review and surely they look better than halogen!

I looked at the reviews at the Amazon link and it showed the low beam pattern as pretty dang nice, high beam was kind of scattered.Nice step in the right direction for LED IMO.
