Default Coilover setup

Hello guys, I was wondering if there’s a way that the ls400 will be able to run a ls430 coilovers on the car, the only thing I could find online was that it would work between a 2nd gen ls400 the ones before it changed to ls430. The issue is that mines a 90 so I don’t know if it’ll fit. I’m asking because my friend has some that he wants to give to me and I want to make sure it’ll fit. I also understand that the stock ride height would be different then intended meaning if they do fit my car might get lower or raises depending how they fit. Please help. Don’t wanna say yes and be stuck with ls430 coils

I'm not 100% certain on fitment but I'm leaning towards no.
in reality anything can be made to fit, but if the tophat bolts are off even by a few mms then it would be very difficult to retrofit them in.
the lengths are certainly different but with coilovers they can be shortened/lengthened to size so that's not as concerning.

see if your friend is willing to do a test fit before purchase.
