wire schematics
Hello,
Off topic..I need help matching the wiring harness that connects to the smaller component left of the main fuse box in my 96LS 400. Can someone please help? I should have snapped a picture of it before I started unbolting all the wires. I did take a picture of the main fuse box and its plug-ins though. Thanks for your time

I took some picks, but not sure how that much will help you. As you've learned by now, don't take things apart without labeling. Here is a web site where you can download a free schematic:

I took pictures of all the pages that you should need to figure out how to rewire your fusible link block. You have what looks like 11 connections on that block. As an example, connection 9 is the wire that goes directly to the battery. Connection 4 is the wire (Heater 50A) that goes to pin 4 of the heater relay. Here are the pictures:

nice! thanks for the reply. i got it all put together and now its running thankfully. now to eliminate the shortage in battery life. ive charged the battery twice so far up until the fuse burned through the box, bought a spare alternator in case i wanna go ahead and just replace it, otherwise i need to do more wire testing and fuse testing. cooling fan does not run and ac unit will not display although back light is on. i looked up some youtube videos and it could be cooling fan relays on the front end of the car. either way. im afraid of driving in case i dont start back up cuz of a dead battery. does anyone have suggestions or ideas i should consider that might help?
