I want adjust my driver side headlight up a couple degrees.
I researched posts and found one with good pics.
PueDrifter says that you have to remove battery to adjust driver side.
Upon examination, this is true to be able to get a wrench on vertical adjustment bolt.

How do you adjust the headlights without battery running the lights???

Does adjusting the level with allen wrench have any impact on level?

 

On my 1997, which has the same headlight setup, I adjusted the lights by parking in front of the garage door and placing something with a level line against the door. Then I adjusted each adjustment **** until I figured they were good. Road test and adjust after, to not blind others. I was able to wiggle a ratcheting wrench behind my battery.
