Default $600 94 LS400 project!

so i just recently bought a black and grey 94 LS with all black interior for $600, theres more issuies with it than i can even think of but i am determined to fix them all, lets start with the exterior , it was lightly hit on the right side on the back door and there are large but shallow dents from the door to the trunk area, and is all covered with spraypaint, the front bumper assembly is completely destroyed as previous owner crashed into a tree stump, ive removed every broken thing in the assembly like the cover and brackets and reinforcement bar, im now searching for parts to replace all of that (if anybody has please let me know) also underbody plastid is torn up a bit and theres missing pieces need to know what to do about that and if it can even be repaired , the plastic pieces that hold the headlights are broken too . The grill is also broken so im looking for a chrome grill the emblem color doesnt matter bc that and the mesh is getting plasti dipped but the border must be chrome. Now the interior , sunroof doesnt work and seal is gone and the glass is kinda just sitting there , theres plastic tabs missing ( ex. Trunk and gas door tabs) the whole dash unit doesnt work cant tell how fast im going at all , all windows dont work except for driver door , need new black leather seats for driver and passenger, i pulled the whole center unit out with the ac and ash tray thing with the trac button and seat warmer buttons (need a new one of those too) the shifter unit has a broken plastic piece that shows the gears, i have a aftermarket **** but need to figure out hoe to remove the factory one and disconnect the overdrive wire,, also alot of rust everywhere. Now the engine bay, im buying a new 1uz with auto trans that came on a 91 ls with 90,000 on it, but i also had my eye on a 2jz gte vvti at the pick n pull with 80,000 in a gs300/400 with trans and was wondering what the easier route was between the two. Thats all for now thanks for reading all this and thank you for the help this is my first build, if yall want i can upload pictures soon too.

This is an incredibly hard car to do your first full resto. I advice against it. Consider the cost of parts compared to buying another 94 that is in better shape and use this as a parts car. JMHO.

In the car for 600. It's not going to be too expensive using junk yard parts but if you were going to to an engine swap I'd be just looking for a rolling shell in tidy condition.

It sounds like it is just not worth it, now does it sound like it was worth the 600 dollars. Keep it for parts.

Mine has turned into a full resto with modifications and I'm currently making a twin turbo kit for it. Is it sensible and economical Nope. But I love my car.

2jz swaps are not cheap. I'd use the 1uzfe and throw in set of cams and manual swap it. Would cost about the same at the end of the day. In my part of the world atleast

First off, you paid way too much for it. Picknpull likely only would give $60. for it. Maybe a bit more since scrap maybe higher than when I wanted to sell them a pickup truck.
If you go with a different series or gen engine, you want to transfer all electrical related parts from whats in the car now to the replacement engine, else you have an electrical nightmare. If it was me I'd look for a good body and interior car and just use that one for parts and sell parts you don't need.
