Default Single click when coming to hard stop

What could this be? There's a single click, usually when first stopping the car water turning it on.

could be many things, suspension, stuff in your trunk, expansion from interior bits, brake pads, drive shaft, wheels...

what speed? could just be the brakes shifting and expanding as it gets up to temp.

Could you give us some history on your car,is it a creampuff or a clunker? Previous owners,maintenance records,miles,that sort of info.It helps to know....

Mine would do it going from D to R or from R or P to D. It's shifting back and forth a little. Actually mine was rubbing on the rotor a little but that went away randomly one day... It was annoying.
