Default Question about this suspension setup

Hello, I am a novice when it comes to modding the Lexus (as I am a Honda guy). I have a 97 LS and want to lower 1.5-2.0 inches. A local performance shop has quoted me the following:

For Shocks:
KYB AGX GR2
$65/each front
$back (he doesn’t have a price but will get one)

For Springs:
Tein S-tech
Drops 1.5
Price $210

Does anyone have any experience with the above setup as a whole or with other setups? I know I will loose some ride quality by doing this, but do not wish to sacrifice a lot.

Last but not least, the shop has never done suspension work on a Lexus but has done some Toyotas. Are there any precautions needed to be taken on the LS when doing this setup install? He said roughly $100 if it's straight forward and no crazy hacking required.

Thanks for your help guys!

Ahad

Tokico doesn't make a shock for the 97? This is what Tokcio told me. I could have sworn someone has a lowered LS with a Tokico shock. Alos, Intrax doesn't have springs for a 97 as well? H&R and Eibach do but they only lower 1.0 inch? Looks like Tein's kit is a speical order from Japan and could take months to receive if I wanted it. So what are my options?? H&R and Eibach for springs and KYB GR2 for shocks? Coilovers get too expenisve unless someone knows something I don't know...
