Default three LSs now

Hello everyone. Formal introduction here since I bought my third LS....

Somehow I realized that LS400s were going for the same prices as Camrys in the very-old car market. I bought a very nice 2000 several years ago and used this forum to make it like new. I'm in Ohio and the car is from Texas so it is like new underneath. Still have this car. My 16 year old daughter drives it back and forth to school. Bought with 150k miles and has 211k now. Fabulous car.

Second car was a 1996 that wouldn't start for the previous owner. With the help of this forum he got it barely running and we came to an agreement. My son is in college and drives it back and forth to school. About 250k miles on this one. This car is rough, but everything works.

Last week I bought a third car. A 1999 with 326k miles but you'd never know it. This is for me but the wife has driven it a few times while I replaced a rear caliper on her van.

Thanks to all the posters and especially the mods for keeping this forum alive and well sorted!

I plan on taking pictures of all three cars together and will post ASAP. But you all know what these cars look like, right? :-)

Congrats on the finds... yes, these cars are way undervalued as used cars. Great cars for the money.

A week ago, I just have spent two days with a key person who had been deeply involved in developing LS400s and Celsiors with his and and his team's great efforts. If these posts by BNastee and billydpowe had been done a week ago, I could have informed him above posts.

The 250k mile '96 in front. Then the 2000 TexasLexus.with 210k miles Farthest back is the most recent purchase - 1999 'Butter' with 324k miles. I'd drive any of the three anywhere. Rich

At first, I thought BNastee & Billydpowe are the same person since Billydpowe posted the pic right after BNastee's post.

Anyway, I currently own 2 LS400's & I thought that's plenty but now I need to buy 1 more just to make it even as I like to collect cars but I already 7 so I have no room now. Our LS400's are truly timepiece & fine automobiles.
