Default 94 LS400 acceleration problems

My 94 ls400 ran out of gas sitting in the driveway. Got gas back in it and it ran fine for 2 days. Then it will crank but will not accelerate. It just bogs down when you give it gas. It also is idling at 1800 Rpm. It got to where it would turn over but not crank. I had power to the fuel pump but it was not running.
I replaced the fuel pump and the fuel filter and it will crank now but after it sits for about an hour it's like it's lost fuel pressure and it has to pump the system back up before it will Restart

There is a chance that the low fuel let sediment ino the injectors. Long shot but possible.

The inside of the tank was spotless and the fuel pump strainer was clean.

Sounds like there is either a leak allowing the pressure to bleed down or your fuel pressure regulator went out. Try disconnecting the vacuum line at the fuel pressure regulator and see if it changes the way it runs.
