Default air cond

I recently had my 92 converted to the 134 type freon. I am having a problem with the cooling air not always being cool enough. Just recently it would not have any cooler air output than 60plus degrees yesterday it put out air that was in the low fortys. what could be causing this. thanks Michael.

A/C blowing warm Air from the two Left Vents at driver side and colder air from the two right ones passenger side, the vents for the back seats are blowing warm air also. I will appreciate any comments or help.

Thanks

R-134 is not as efficient as R-12 when it comes to coolling. R-12 was the better refrigerent in that aspect, but it was also not good for the ozone. Now all cars come with R-134 ... to compensate for it's lack of cooling, manufactures installed larger evaporator cores to balance out the difference. So there may be nothing that can be done about your situation.

You're one of the few early LS 400 owners that happen to notice that.

It just means you have a leak in the A/C system some where. It does that because the evaporator is mounted right under that right vent in the center part of the dash.

I did not make myself clear. My problem is not less cooling power, it is the fact that sometimes it cools great outher time the air temp comeing out will not be less than the sixtys. Sometimes plenty cool other times not enough cool.

I had my 91 converted to R134 and am less than happy with the outcome.. seems to cool fine when the outside temp is less than 85 degrees but cannot keep up when it is warmer.. starts out blowing cool air and eventually gets pretty cold but not right when you turn it on and never as cold as the R12. wish I would have stuck with the R12.
