Hey everyone BACK in the Lexus game after my old gs430 with a 72mm turbo I got rid of her she was a good car but I wasn't a good owner and kept throwing transmissions away now i got a 2000 ls 400 and I have been doing quite a bit of work to her the typical fan boy neon interior lights o.e.m bride floor mats made from oem lexus mats I threw in a k and n filter new oil bc coils and I'm throwing r35 wheels on her in a couple days
Yea I'm gonna do pads and rotors when I throw the r35 wheels on time has not been on my side
You'll need to get a new sensor or repair the one you've got. Just the pads won't turn the light off.
Pretty clean specimen. Sounds like you've got big plans.
nice work, never thought about taking the tips off the rear mufflers and using it on the inside like that. it should keep the exhaust away from the diff!
don't you have to run stock lugs for the OEM Nissan wheels to seat properly? be careful not to use Nissan lugs as they are a different thread pitch than Toyota (12x1.25mm vs 12x1.5mm)!

yep everything you said was correct the aftermarket muteki sr48 lugs in 12x1.50 fit the stock Nissan lug valley very well I just keep my snap on torque stick on me to check to see if there coming lose I also used spacer (25mm) on the front needs more low on the front but that will come soon
Interesting, i contemplated R35 wheels a long time back but decided the fitment wasn't great for my needs (fronts are too narrow). The look is pretty good though, may have to revisit them. DO you have a combined wheel/tire weight?
You seem to be running too thin a tire, especially given how conservative the front wheels are. Any particular reason you didn't want to go wih the correct 245/35-20? From experience you'll have some issues with bubbling unless you run extremely high pressures as the tires aren't load rated for the LS.

I haven't rolled or cut the front fenders didn't want to go to crazy with rolling so I decided to bite the bullet and ran with a thinner wall tire up front
as for the rear I wish I went 275 instead of 285 but I can't beat free falken tires
and the psi I run is 40 all around it still rides nice with the bc coils
future plans are more aggressive roll on the rear (rubs barely under heavy bumps) and roll the front for extra clearance and more low to match rear
specs for the foot work
20x8.5 front 245/30/20 with a 20mm spacer to match the rear (factory for front wheel offset is +45 )
20x10.5 rear 285/30/20 no spacer (factory offset is +25)
