Default Performance Chips

Hi Everyone

I’ve got the LS 400 and I’m after some cheap performance and was wondering if the Performance Chips actually work??
I’ve never used them before so just a little sceptical if they do actually work or not?.
Otherwise I’m after any other option for some cheap bang for ya buck.

Thanks for your time and help

The 1uzfe has a lot of potential performance to unleash. Unfortunately this isn't cheap. There are no good chips for the ls400 so forget them. The ecu is very well locked down and if you wanted to alter its mapping you'd need to piggyback or replace it. Not cheap. Intake and exhaust is the cheapest way to got to gain a little but thats not cheap either. If you want cheaper bolt on performance, try the sc300 on gs300. More out there for those motors on the aftermarket performance scene. Its just not the right car for it. ANd chips are always useless unless they are to specifically work alongside other mods, like intake, exhaust, cam work etc.
