The speed signal is also sent to the ABS computer. There might be a possibility that the speed signal is eaten by that and the amplitude is less than the threshold level at the cluster unit.

I have not checked my ABS computer but I have no issues with ABS lights or other codes or bad breaking. Still would be good to check it.

I haven't given an update yet cause around here NO ONE wants to touch the car. Found 1 shop that told me 100% bring it but it has to be tuesday and up, let's hope it goes well.

If you dont ever get it fixed buy a GPS unit and use it for speedo.

Thing is it rides like bullocks, tranny doesn't seem to know when or how to shift and in Park or neutral engine revs up great but in gear it's extremely lousy. I'm guessing it's in limp mode because the speed sensor signal is not reaching the ECU or anything thus the car not knowing how fast you are going.

Sounds like the speed signal is not coming to the cluster at all. I worry about the voltage supply to the Pin#2 at the speed sensor is none. This can be checked easily using a volt meter or a DVM.

Update:

Mechanic called, he tested the wave with a oscilloscope and no signal whatsoever. He found a way to make it send a signal but cluster doesn't work then.

Extremely weird. Hope Yamae can fish in on why no wave signal is being generated
