93 ls400 speed sensor problem
Update:
Went to 2 electromechanics and they didn't do ****. No one wanted to touch the car now except 1 that told me to bring it before closing to leave it and the can check it during the week

The speed signal is also sent to the ABS computer. There might be a possibility that the speed signal is eaten by that and the amplitude is less than the threshold level at the cluster unit.
I'm debating on picking up an abs computer today thought I remember a while ago my abs went crazy for a couple days then back to normal guess I need to hit a gravel road to check the abs lol
Thing is it rides like bullocks, tranny doesn't seem to know when or how to shift and in Park or neutral engine revs up great but in gear it's extremely lousy. I'm guessing it's in limp mode because the speed sensor signal is not reaching the ECU or anything thus the car not knowing how fast you are going.

Update:
Mechanic called, he tested the wave with a oscilloscope and no signal whatsoever. He found a way to make it send a signal but cluster doesn't work then.
Extremely weird. Hope Yamae can fish in on why no wave signal is being generated
