1990-1994 LS400 had a bleeder screw.
Does 1997 LS400 shop manual depict a bleeder screw?

I've just checked the 00 LS I gave to my son. His has the bleeder screw as yours so looks like Toyota used a different ABS pump/solenoid block for the 95-97. Not sure why though.

A 97 only has 4 ABS solenoids. On the other hand a 98-00 has 15 ABS solenoids aiming to control the ABS system precisely. There are fluid passages many and the trapped air there needs a way to escape. That's why a bleeder screw is added. But this is just my impression that it is still not enough to bleed the ABS unit doing so in accordance with the method explained in the manual. The best way is to drive solenoids separately as is done for newer models introduced by StanVanDam.

Yoda mentioned the 90-94 ABS has the bleeder screw so how can it be? Do the 90-94 also have more solenoids than the 95-97?

Had to remove the ABS brake solenoid to replace a power steering hose on 1993 LS400.
Observed what appeared to be a bleeder screw..(The chassis brake tubes were also replaced, however I did not bleed the system.)
Following are images of "ABS Brake Pump Assembly" where there appears to be a red cap over a fitting.
Perhaps it is something else?
