Right when i get my new fuel filter.. the bolt was already stripped by the previous mechanic who changeed it... I've taken it to a local garage and they couldnt do anything to it... they suggested taking the car to the dealer.. anyone have any ideas on how to change this "easy" DIY fuel filter change?
Sounds like you need to try one of those "Gator Grip" wrenches. They claim they can undo stripped bolts. I don't know if they work though, never tried one. It's an idea for a fix.

Wow, your local garage mechanic couldn't get off a stripped bolt?
Do they only work on Lego sets?
