Drop in performance filter for 98+ LS?
Has anyone tried out drop-in performance filters for their LS? I suspect the difference in HP/TQ would be so slight as to be undetectable by the driver, but every little bit helps.
Did a little searching and found that K&N has an application

Actually that part # is for year 90 on, I have it in my car for over a year. I haven't noticed any notable performance increase just a slight vroom sound from the increase in air flowing through.
I didn't want to be bothered with having to change the OEM filter. As long as you clean it every so often and your extremely careful when you recharge it by re-oiling it (not to over oil it because you might mess up the MAF meter and intake) then I recommend it.

I got mine for $97 with out the attachment for the engine cause I had to make my own. Not made for my car.
So your saying if someone bought one in the U.S. they are stupid. I dont think so what one wants one gets sometimes no matter what the cost. I see you spent lots on your car so whats $50 more or so. LOL
