Default Wells Visors...questions sort of

I know that these are fairly popular and I'm just looking to see for long term impressions/suggestions on them.

I purchased some well visors a couple of months ago. They didn't come with instructions, but they're rain guards so no big deal (it did say go to the website for instructions, but there wasn't anything on there worth a gosh darn). I've done them on a few vehicles, so I just did my normal process of cleaning the area, lining everything up, pressing hard, and viola. I know they came with pins for attachment, but without instructions, and never having needed extra reinforcement on any other pair, I didn't think much of it. Well, now the tape is starting to come loose and there's gaps. You can't see them, but if it rains or I get a car wash, you can see it leak down the window. More so if it's raining and my windows are cracked. Sooooooooooooooo...

Have you guys attatched them or nah? The double side tape thing is a non-issue really. Just looking for what you guys have done or experienced.

There's some clips you slide onto behind the rubber weather seal on the door, and you line up the visors with the holes and use the locking pins.
it'd be a pain to reapply the 3m tape though.

I finally figured out how to do the pin thing, but it was after I had already put them on. I was just wondering, from those who had them, if they had used the clips or just the 3M tape. But, I'm probably gonna just redo them this weekend. I got the 3m tape and it isn't that big a deal to remove that and reapply. Guess we'll see how things shake loose.

billy, I didn't post pics because There's a BUNCH of pics of members on here with these items and there really isn't anything special about them. I actually purchased them because of the NUMEROUS positive reviews, mostly from this site. But, I'll get you a pic or two in a few.

Yep that's what happened to mine. Didn't stick very well in a few spots so I just bought that 3M thin attach tape and fixed the trouble areas and looks good as new.

Oh ok. But, would it be fair to say that you don't like ANY aftermarket stuff on your Lexus? I'm not into a lot of gaudy-ness. I lean more towards an OEM+ kind of appearance in most cases. But, I can't leave a car completely stock.

yes, that would be fair to say.... you need to take into consideration I am 83 years old and have already had my fling.. this old dodge was my high school car, 1951 & 52 graduation and then the 50 ford I bought right after graduation... and some I have restored (the model A took 7 years) (little RED 39 ford truck was chevy powered)
look thru CARS I HAVE OWNED below
