i have my trac light off. and a car with blink lights at the end.. check engine coming on

 

When asking a question please say what year your car is.

The car with blinking lights in rear means you have a light in the rear of the car not working. (Brake, signal, reverse, or tail light)
The Trac off light always comes on when the engine light comes on. You need to check the codes to see why the light is on. http://www.lexls.com/tutorials/intro/codereading.html Could be anything from very simple to major.
If it's just the "trac" light (inside near the engine light) and NOT the "Trac off" light (next to O/D off light on bottom) then that could be as simple as adding brake fluid.
