91 LS400 with factory AM/FM/Cass, I looked into having a new 2dim stereo installed and due to the sub-woofer a stereo with Apple Play will cost $1200! Is there a wiring harness to hook up to a new stereo? My local shop is telling me "NO". Have any of you updated your stereo and kept the factory sub and power amp?

I used this in 2012 for my '92 with Nakamichi stereo. Most people here say it's way overpriced but I only paid $250 and it did the job perfectly. It did exactly what you want but yes, you can roll your own much cheaper.

I walked into a shop with the harness, a Pioneer stereo and said "this is all you need" to make it work. Now I've got DVD, satellite radio, backup camera. I may get a new one with Android Auto.
