I got an eclipse tv/dvd but seem to be having trouble finding a harness. What do i do?? Ive searched and found that some people are directly wiring into speakers. Is this the only way? The stereo shop doesnt wanna do this

If its a pioneer system than there is a harness. It is a metra Toyota intergrated amp harness and you can wire up the factory sub directly to rca by making your own adaptor which is easy. Its a real easy install and sounds better than running off the head units amp.

Works fine for the pioneer system. I usually hard wire the nak systems so never tried it. Pull your radio and check the plug or take pics and post them and I should be able to tell you. If your installer is afraid to cut the harness you may consider a different one. The only installers I have seen that wont cut are ones that have limited experience but thats not always the case. The nak system can be wired up to work just like the harness if it doesnt work. Just need to wire up rca's as if they were speaker wires and the power wires. You can also wire up the sub the same way so you have sub control throuhg the radios sub out.
