I just ordered one from irontoad.com the other day...."FUEL FILTER 23300-50020---$23.84" They shipped my whole order the day after I ordered . I'm not sure if this is the Lexus or Toyota part number though, I would assume Lexus though.

Nope, just for the part. I ordered a bunch of parts though so shipping was cheap. Shipping and ordering info is here: http://www.irontoad.com/l_ord.htm

Yes that is the correct part # > I purchased one from Bell Lexus in Phoenix in January for 23.82 (not including shipping) I believe they discount 20% off retail-try and order a few things at one shot to lessen the shipping costs-speak to Dave 602-866-3300

Man, Bell lexus is SOO cheap.. they are really fair on prices and shipping....

I got a case of Toyota IV with a Fuel Filter for $83 w/shipping... if you ask me thats a really solid deal.. especially against all these outrageous prices in San DIego

I'm just curious, but where is the fuel filter located? I really hope I don't have to get at the gas tank area in the trunk

Right behind the rear wheel , on driver's side.
There's a small shield protecting it .
Remove it and you'll see it.
Place a rag over the
Need 2 open end wrenches,
drape a rag over it and a oil drain bucket below,
loosen the fitting, and let it drain for about 10 mins.
Remove the rag, and loosen the fittings.
Remove the filter/bracket and install new one.
Reconnect everything.
Turn the ignition to the ON position to let the FUEL system
build pressure before starting for about 5-10 secs.
Then it should strat up , and check for leaks.
Took about 20 mins,

it drip for a bit
