I have looked at a couple 94-95 silver ls 400s and all I've seen are gold badges. It is easy and inexpensive to change to silver badges? Are silver badges available standard on these years?

What wheels were available as well? I don't really care for the chrome wheels I've seen.

I'm pretty sure all the cars you have seen have the "gold" package. Under the gold plating is the chrome plating seen on most cars. Simple paint remover can do this for you, if you decided to get a car with the gold package.

There were alloy wheels and not chrome available.

ALso, there was regular silver/chrome badging abvailable.

If you don't want to try the paint thinner then you can have the emblems replace for a couple hundred dollars. They are fairly simple to remove and replace. I wouldn't let that decide wether you buy the car or not.
