Default Snow Tires. Will they fit ?

I have a set of brand new winter tires which were originally purchased for my wifes Honda Odyssey. They are size 225/70R16. My question is can these be mounted on my OEM 16" wheels and work without running into any fitment issues. Is the 70 series too tall of a tire ? Car is a 1998 LS400

thanks

I have the same tires on my car now. 225/60/16...but they are cupping (summer tires didn't do that) and my suspension and other parts are all ok, so who knows...they're rated well, and Lexus told me to ignore the cupping for at least 1 year.

Those are going to be too tall. I would go with a 225/55/16 or 215/60/16.

That's pretty far outside the variance that is considered acceptable: http://www.1010tires.com/Tools/Tire-...0R16/225-70R16
