Ls 400 all electric out?
1991 lexus ls400 140k running perfectly.
Go to grocery, come out, try and start - then, to the best of my recollection, lights come on briefly then dim to out quickly with maybe a small popping sound????
Starter never engaged, then ALL electric gone....
Any ideas????

Battery terminal connections?
Fusible link blown?
Those are most likely. Poor battery connections can make a popping sound as they are arching, then the clearance can increase dropping all power. A fusible link could also make a noise when blowing.

Bam.
Dicer and I take beer gift cards in case you were wondering.
Kidding of course, but thank you for following up. 95% of people with a problem that end up resolving it don't bother to finish their contribution to the board. Well done.
