serialnine.com. ucf10 front upper control arms for camber adjustment upfront. you can also buy camber roll center adjusters for slightly more camber but they will push your wheels out about 10mm so be weary of that.

I can stick with the factory ones but I just didn't want to do it again and again and again just like to do it one time.
did not know if factory equipment would hold up with coilovers and all that other stress

shouldn't have a problem. Many people run factory arms with coilovers. Never have seen any fail. If you plan to keep the stock arms i would suggest getting some new bushings all around and it should be good to go. Stock adjustments can give you a few degrees of camber as well.

Hi there,

I just did this replacement on both sides on my 2000 LS400. I purchased the lower control arm and the strut control arm from the dealer. I purchased the upper control arm and the lower ball joint from ebay. It took me four hours to do both sides with the right tools and patience.

Need to replace upper control arm w/bushing, upper ball joint and a tie rod end (passenger side) and was quoted at $1607.20. That only for one side and that totally doesn't seem right to me. Parts - $760 Labour - $540 4 Wheel alignment - $135. Should I buy the parts myself and have a mechanic friend do it? Should i do both sides? Any parts I should avoid on eBay? Any advice on the matter is appreciated. Thanks.

Hi there,
You are being ripped off! Even the wheel alignment is higher than the Lexus dealer.

i would say negative ghost rider. That is too much. Buy a new ls400 for that price. Buy the parts off a trusted parts website and do them yourself. not very hard, probably a 2/5 on a difficult scale. Good learning experience.

Thanks. Any recommendation as to where I can buy the parts I need. Should I avoid eBay? (Canada)

Me personally would steer clear of eBay but thats just my opinion. partsgeek.com should have everything you need and should ship to Canada. That way you can buy everything at once and have a warranty on it all. I have purchased from them many times.
