So I have kind of an odd situation. I am out of town and my car is at someone's house, and I have the keys with me, with no spare. I was going to have a friend come look at a problem I was having with it, but with no key, they can't get in. Plus side is that my back doors don't lock. However, as soon as the door is opened, the alarm will go off. The only way I know to turn the alarm off is with the unlock button. Are there any other ways to disable the alarm from within the car without the keys? Thanks in advance.

For your '97? Probably best to wait till you get back in town because the keys are going to be necessary to test it as well as disable the alarm.
