Default what is the optimal coolant temperature (range)?

I did quite some searches but dont really find the answer (or my keywords were bad). I notice my car running at about 85-95 degree C, spark up to 98-99 at times (in short period of time)

thanks for any comment or link to info source

85-95℃ is perfectly normal, although i generally don't ever see mine getting above 90℃ unless it's hot out and i have the A/C on or something. 98-99℃ seems a bit warm but it's probably ok.
