I just got a 1993 ls400 missing a rear gold badge found them on eBay isn't it retainers or clip that hold them in place ?cant fine them 🎰🦂🎲🦂

 

which badge are you looking for? The 1st generation cars did not come with "LS400" badges.

 

I have badge the Lexus l on truck but doesn't it need retainers when you put it on !on the inside

 

I used double sided tape 3m, still on 4 years later. Put the LS400, on just for kixxs. No clips, little rubber nipples used plus tape.

 

Did UCF10/11 models really not come with the LS 400 badge, PureDrifter? Not to question your knowledge, but I have seen a good amount of 1993-1994 models with LS 400 badges on the trunk, all with what seems to be the same placement. I know for sure that 1990-1991 models did not come with the trunk badge.

I'm just entirely curious about this now.

 

I think PD is right... as I remember on my 1993, it had the Lexus on the left, the center emblem, but did not have the LS400 on the right side.

pd is right, I put them on mine with doubled sided tape..

 

In the US market the "LS 400" badging was not factory installed until the '95 model year. There were aftermarket "LS 400" badges installed by some dealers for '93-94.

outside north american i'm not certain. I believe it is the same for Lexus badged markets.
