Any luck? i have the same exact issues. low idle in Drive with a/c off... i have done iridium spark plugs, replaced pcv, as well as fuel filter, even ran some bg44k fuel cleaner. have cleaned the throttle body, air mixture ports. have not cleaned the maf yet, i will try that.

 

If these cars still use the potentiometer for tps, if it has a bad spot it could cause the off idle slow response. Easy to test them. Even easier with a real time scan tool.
