I have a problem with the fuel gauge. When I fill the tank, the needle is a dead low and low fuel indicator light comes on. It comes on for a while until the gas tank is about 1/4 down, the fuel gauge starts to work normally. It does go through a phase that the needle fluctuate at near the 1/4 empty for a while before it becomes normal (while meaning for about 20~30 miles driving).

I am not sure if the problem is at the instrument gauge or in the tank floater. Anyone had similar issue with the fuel gauge?
