I'm going rice!
In another burst of spontaneousness I took a trip to the muffler shop. I think I was bored..
For some reason I had to have one muffler put on in that instant. I decided on this Greddy look alike muffler which came with a silencer for $100. They only had one in stock (why did my decision get weirder and weirder?) and the guy said I was the first one to come in with a dual exhaust system and only have one put on.. I can tell already after I washed my car it will be a pain in the ******** to keep clean.
I have pics, will post later. The sound that I can hear from one side sounds great. It looks quite a bit more ricey now. It sticks out a little too much - maybe when I go back to have the other side put on I'll ask them to re-adjust it. Or maybe I'll have my stocks put back on (?!?!)
Stuck in confusion --

So did you upgrade to bigger piping as well or just added the muffler?
Hows the sound?
To the LS400 owners with exhaust hows the sound after an exhaust upgrade? Is it more of a domestic lumpity lumpity sound?

I've been through several modifcations to the LS exhaust. Each one being mild, to roaring.
Bigger piping isn't always better as Jbrady taught me.
you can see (hear) some of the different exhaust setups I had before..
www.ldvg.com/car.htm
# 1-3 are the loudest I had it
# 4 and 5 were a little more quiet
Video if new exhaust coming soon -
