Looking to get a new stereo installed on my 96 LS mainly because the screen on the radio is all blurred and it's a pain trying to find radio stations. The unit I want to install is the Pioneer AVH-270BT. By installing this, would I lose any sound quality and bass? I'm VERY big on bass..
I also can't find any wiring harnesses that will work with it... any help?

Do you have the Pioneer or Nakamichi system. You can buy a harness for the pioneer system that will be plug and play. If you have the Nak you will have to cut,splice or tap into wires. Especially to retain the woofer in the back window. Just google the Beatsonic harness and face plate.

Who ever installed that system could have cut and spliced and made a rats nest of the wires, so a harness may not do any good.

 

Here you go. It's pricey but convenient and matches perfectly. There are less expensive faceplates on Amazon though.
