Heated front and rear seats?
My LS did not come with heated seats. I was wondering if anyone know of a OEM or good kit that allows front and rear seat heat feature?
Thanks.
Thanks.

rear heated seats i don't think were ever an option on the car, not the US spec LS anyway. pretty sure a highly optioned celsior had heated AND massaging rear seats (damn japanese always keeping the best for themselves lol) but never in the states.
for front heated seats you'd have to get a new button assembly, if you had heated seats the buttons would be attached to the VSC button as one assembly. and then you'd also have to get a separate wood trim piece that has the holes to accommodate the heated seat buttons. then there's the seats themselves, and there's probably some additional wiring to be done as well.

Google "Carbon Fiber Seat Heater Kit": https://www.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl#q...eat+heater+kit
I haven't seen one here but I've seen tutorials on other car forums on installing them. It's a popular project on the Toyota Sienna SE which used to not be available with seat heaters.
There are separate carbon fiber sheets for the back rest and seat cushion and they can be cut to fit. The kits come with a wiring harness to connect everything together.
There are several switch types. Some people drill holes in a front corner of the seat cushion frame to install round toggle switches. Most of the carbon fiber kits have two heat settings - low and high.
