It requires a heater unit under the seats.
The was a for sale tread while back for that unit.

Been there, done that. Had these guys make me a kit for my last car. No problems what so ever with their product.

The real mod would be making COOLED Seats! Some cars have that now, don't they?

Yes, either the new model BMW's or Mercedes have cooled seats. That's a nice mod!

Sat in a 2006 GS430 on Friday. Cooled front seats is an option.

Spin the control to the right for several levels of heat, to the left for several levels of cool.
Chester Cheatah could totally get behind it.

our vendor leatherseats.com you can get the heated seat module from them

from my understanding, if you want cooling seats, you need to somehow have a vent to deliver the ac to inside the seat?

Default Air Conditioned Heats are the way to go in the Mid-Atlantic...

I've had this option on my E55 and now on my Q45. I wish my GS430 had cooling seats, but the heating option was nice for a quarter of the year.
