Default airflow meter

Man Now my airflow meter went bad when I was replacing all the vaccuum tubing in my car.. supposedly when u pull the plug from the meter the car is suppose to turn off, and now it doest. Lexus charges 1000 for the whole unit.. Where can i get just the airflow meter... this really sucks...

I've never ever seen an airflow meter go bad during a vacume hose replacement.
Maybe Lexus is wrong?

they said it went bad when u use excess movement or something. like if u shake the unit too much or put the unit upside down.. its a buncha crap, but i know its broeken becuz the car doesnt turn off when i pull the plug out

Is this airflow meter you're talking about situated immediately after the air filter housing? You should get the engine check light if that sensor is broken.

Yea i jsut had it replaced at the salvage yard for 200 bucks.. the sensor was broken inside somehow.. maybe by some applied force or something... I have no clue... now i have to take care of my exhaust leaks from all 3 cat convertors
