94 LS400 Cats off question
ok so ive had a 94 ucf10 now for over a year just sitting in my driveway for about a year now. ive had too much other stuff going on in my life to mess with it as it hasn't been a priority. the car runs.. sort of, but its got about half a million miles and is very very rough.
anyway the cats were clogged so I removed them completely along with the exaust.
the car is hard to start but once it is running its hard to keep running for the first 5 mins or so, very very low idle and stalls. anyway once it warms up, it drives okay but falls on its face at 2k RPM. any ideas?

O2 sensors, maybe?
I'm not sure, as you removed the cats and the exhaust already. I'll get back to you, if I find something else in the manuals.

I’m having this same issue
[I know this is an older message but it’s worth a try. I have a 92 ls400 and just got done with fuel pump, plugs and wires. Mine still acts like it’s going to die anything approaching 2k rpms. Did you ever resolve your issue? I’m planning on straight piping mine as well.
