eBay is the best place to get cats.

You'd have to buy a universal cat, and have it welded in your existing exhaust. I don't know who makes bolt-in hi-flow cats for an LS400, but I'd imagine they're ridiculously expensive.

what about taking mine off and drilling a 1" hole down the center of the flow elements? that would leave enough back pressure, but also give less restriction

Ummm, no. Don't do that. If you break apart the catalyst at all it gives the cat an oppurtunity to clog itself, and then you'll have a whole new defintion for the word restriction.

*edit* - Backpressure is a myth, don't even be concerned about it, just keep the diameter of your piping around 2.25 - 2.5"

ya, that kind of stuff never works for long. Better to do it right the first time.

Thumbs up

Stock flow pretty well... I installed high flows on my car as the driver cat died (wasn't plugged, just non functional) and didn't notice any power gains...

Spend that money on beer.
