Default Catalytic Converter needed

Have a 95 LS400 that I think has a bad catalytic converter, front passenger side. Also have another 95 I wrecked that I kept for parts. Problem is on the wrecked car the bolts are really corroded and I might not be able to remove them. If I go aftermarket for the CC, which is the best one for the money? Thanks for any help.

If you use Kroil on them and some heat they should loosen up. They can be cut off as well. Check out Rock auto for the CC.

Have Kroil but used some other stuff first because I couldn't find the Kroil, have now found it, haven't tried heat yet. Can cut 4 of 5 bolts off, the 5th looks like It is impossible to get to to cut off. Which brand from Rock Auto?

As long as the tools stay on it, just use a very long 1/2 drive ratchet or breaker bar and break the bolt. I'd use a cutting torch if it can be reached, just don't let the flame hit on the floor.

Thanks men, I used a flow tester to check the CC's and they check out OK. Now think the problem is electrical. Changed out one of the coil packs and it worked great for a day and then started misfiring again. Am getting misfires from both coil pack banks, 3 on one side and 1 on the other. Changed the coil pack on the side with 3 cylinders misfiring. Might be the ECU. Plugs and wires changed 20K ago.

Flow tester. Do you have pictures of it or where to find one?
